About Me:
For as long as I can remember, I've always had a passion for storytelling. I was introduced to movies at a young age and instantly I was hooked. There was something about the flicker of the silver screen that always captured my attention. From the moment I could walk, I would gallop around the living room on my imaginary horse, pretending I was John Wayne, thwarting the bad guys and saving the day with my trusty six shooter. As I got older, I never lost my fascination with movies. I spent hours watching anything from Casablanca to Caddyshack, Stagecoach to Star Wars, anything that ignited my obsession with a good story. The more I watched, the more I felt this drive inside me that told me I was meant to tell stories. Every fiber of my being told me this was something I had to do. So, I listened.
After finishing High School, I attended Ball State University and majored in Telecommunications. For three and a half years, I honed my craft, putting my passions into practice. For me, college wasn’t just about learning how to tell stories, it was about putting that learning into action. I found so many opportunities in and out of the classroom where I could stretch my creative talents and perfect my skills.
After graduating from Ball State in December of 2020, I had the wonderful opportunity to move back home and work for the news station I watched growing up. I accepted a job as a photojournalist at WNDU-TV in South Bend, IN. Here I have the good fortune to work with some of the best journalists in the state, reporting on a wide range of topics in northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan.
What I Do:
While film and video is my main passion, I also do other creative work. I enjoy writing and write both screenplays and short form fiction. I dabble a bit in graphic and web design and I look forward to building my skills in those disciplines. Check out my
